Excited for next season

I am very pleased with the team we will be bringing back to the Tourney next year. Udoh leaving is very sad but who could really blame the guy? He worked his butt off and really was dedicated to the team and to the school and I am happy he was apart of that team even if he only played one year. Dunn staying is not only smart on his part (probably would have better chance to get a high pick next draft) but really saves our hide for trying to replace TWO amazing players to the draft. Our recruits coming in should add some quick talent and hopefully some lingering and growing talent in the years to come. Bakari, Perry and Stargell will be awesome for this team and are great examples of top 100 talent that Baylor can pull in. Side Note: I am kind of bummed CBS drops your "Rating" so quickly after only a small lapse in visiting and contributing to the site. I had my boss walk in randomly asking what I was doing on CBS Sports all the time (apparently he got an email from our technology dept.)so I had to slow down my visits. Haha.

Last night's game against Texas Tech was the level we need to play at consistently. If Dunn can score 20-25+ every game along with Carter in pulling a Double-Double with points and assists along with Udoh cleaning house with rebounds, blocks as well as double digit points I can see us easily getting to the Sweet 16. That game (granted it was at home against a team most in the conference can't stand) will be a great confidence booster knowing that yes there are 3 to 4 REALLY good players on our team and it is possible for them to all be 'Hot' on any given night and we can be pretty hard to slow down or stop. What is even better is that we have a bench that is very talented as well and can give big help when needed. This has got to be one of the most well rounded Baylor teams I have ever seen.

If we can get intensity on the road and not let up we could sweep the rest of the conference. We have our two biggest challenges (Texas and AGGS) at home and teams we have already beat left.  SIC 'EM Bears! This is what we all wanted and I could not be more thankful to Scott Drew for sticking it out and turning this program around.

What a nailbiter that game was! Baylor FINALLY pulled a close one out, and it was in Austin!. Things are looking very optimistic for this team. With this signature win, there is no doubt that (barring a utter collapse) this team can make the NCAA tournament as a higher seed. This game has me very excited about what lies ahead for this team the rest of the way. Sic'em Bears!!!

Thoughts?
