This looks to be an exciting year in basketball for the Big 12!
- Oklahoma looks like a perennial Final Four team with B. Griffin and Warren leading the way.
- Texas returns its entire starting group minus Augustin, but I figure they will make it into the Sweet 16.
- The Baylor Bears have an exciting backcourt with All Big 12 Guard Curtis Jerrells leading the way. Sweet 16 anyone?
- Kansas lost practically every important player off of their championship team, but return Sherron Collins and Cole Aldrich. Don't count these guys out...
- My surprise team of the year in the Big 12 is Oklahoma State. I believe they will ride Eaton and Andersen and make it to the NCAAs.
- Texas A&M remains a question mark in my mind, Carter and Sloan just don't get it done for me...
- Demare Carroll nearly went to the NBA but returns to Missouri instead, he will post All Big 12 numbers because of it.
- Nebraska lost a staple player in Alec Maric, a consistently good C. Cookie Miller now leads the team at the point.
- How's life after Mike Wilcats? The departure of him and Walker have the Wildcats looking up in the standings.
- Pat Knight is trying to instill a winning attitude in Lubbock again. Sharp shooter Alan Vosuilk is one of the most deadly three point shooters in the nation.
- Iowa State is my bust team of the year. They lost Wesely Johnson to Syracuse, but they do have a great post player in Craig Brackens.
- Colorado looks like its in shambles. Losing your best player of the last four years is not good...
